Royal gathering

The Miss Sunnyside Court attended the Miss Juneteenth Pageant last Saturday at Pasco High School. Two of the candidates, who are immigrants, performed cultural dances from their native Africa. At the awards and dance reception held at the Pasco Red Lion, Natajiauna Sparks won the hostess award. Dina Gebretatios won the talent award. Kayla Brown was honored for selling the most tickets. Yaye Sidibe won the congeniality and academic awards.
