Happy Hour

Local residents, as well as friends and family members of those living at the Sun Terrace retirement center in Sunnyside, are enjoying “Happy Hour” socials the last Friday of each month. Here, Chris Powers serves his mother, Vi Powers, a glass of wine at last Friday’s gathering. The next “Happy Hour” social, open to the public at no cost, is scheduled for Friday, June 27, from 3 to 4 p.m. “The more the merrier,” Sun Terrace spokesman Cheryl Larrick said in opening the retirement village to the public for the friendly get-togethers.
