SHS youth plans Easter egg hunt

The Sunnyside High School leadership class will be turning Clem Senn Football Stadium into a giant Easter egg hunting ground tomorrow, Saturday.

Starting at 11 a.m., children ages two to four will be escorted onto the field to collect their share of the candy-filled Easter eggs, according to Tina Peabody, leadership class advisor.

The 5- to 7-year-olds will be take the field at 11:30 a.m. for their 30 minutes of fun, followed by the third age group of 8 to 12-years-olds at 12 p.m.

All participants are asked to bring their own baskets.

The leadership class has also planned sack races and will have coloring sheets available for the youngsters while they wait their turn to hunt eggs.
