One of the annual events that traditionally kicks off the Christmas season in Sunnyside is the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church bazaar, which was held last Saturday. Besides homemade crafts and goodies, those attending the bazaar also could enter a drawing for gift baskets and a quilt. All proceeds were designated for the church’s ministry in the community. Pictured above is Charlene Arriaga (L) entering her name in the raffle as volunteer Jane Swindell visits with her. The church’s hallway and stained glass window also provided a colorful backdrop for a playful Christmas tree guarded by a pair of nutcrackers.
